Our Trip to California, Part 1

So I have many other pictures to post also, but I still have to process them (Photoshop) like from Madison's 2nd birthday party. Her birthday was planned for Feb 15th because we had to go to California on Feb 17th and her birthday is actually Feb 18th. I had to go down for work, so I brought Madison with me.

I took Madison to Downtown Disney and she got to make her first Build-A-Bear. She takes after her mommy and had to be different and made a bunny instead.








We first stayed at the Hilton and got upgraded to a room with a huge patio (twice the size of our room) that over looked Disneyland. Here’s a few shots from our patio.

Then we left on Feb 20th and headed down to Carlsbad, CA. We got a room right on the beach, it was called Tamarack Beach Resort. Here’s some pictures from our room…



Then we went to the beach. It’s not the easiest thing taking pictures in the bright sun, so they didn’t turn out so good, plus I rarely ever get pics of Madison looking at me anymore. She’s a busy, defiant little girl.





I have a lot more to update on, but posting this has been quite an issue in itself. It wouldn't let me upload more than one picture at a time and I had to shrink all the pictures. Each time I tried before my internet wold go down and I'd have to start all over.

I always forget about this Blog I should be updating...

Madison and I are still living in our house and just waiting for the bank to make a decision on the offer we received 3 months ago. Of course once they do make a decision we'll have about 2 weeks to move and figure out where we're going to live.

Just a few days ago I found out my work will be sending me to Anaheim for a few days in February. It's over Madison's birthday so I'm looking for someone who will come with me and watch Madison while I'm at the summit I'm attending during the day. I'm going to pay for the airfare. I'm going to stay a few days extra because my cousin Heather will have just had her baby girl (blogspot here) in San Diego so we'll drive down there to visit.

Sunday night I decided to head to the mall hoping barely anyone was there because of all the now. I was correct and we didn't have to wait in line at all for Santa pictures. The only problem was in the 2 miles from our house to the mall Madison fell asleep. I was worried that if I woke her she was going to cry sitting on Santa's lap, but she was a trooper. No big smiles... but no crying either.

I also took a few pictures on December 13th trying to get some for our Christmas cards... a few turned out. It's not easy keeping a child on a 6 foot wide canvas and taking the pictures yourself.

Well lets see if I can remember to update this more often... I think I might setup reminders on my computer until I get in the habit. First place I normally upload my photos to is my flickr page and then sometimes my myspace page. The only thing about both is most pictures are hidden unless you're a friend.

It's been awhile...

Dang, the time sure does fly by. I didn't realize I created this over a month ago and haven't posted anything new. So since they I offically got divorced!! YEAH!!! It was such a long and very expensive drawn out process! To celebrate I went out and purchased an iPhone and I LOVE IT!

I have put my house up for sale which will be about a $60,000 dollar loss, so I'm hoping I can find a roommate instead. To make some more money I'm debating on starting my own Photography business. I figured the benefit with that will be I can make my own hours verses getting a second job. I'm just stuck on a name for it. I can go plain and simple "Tamra Coyne Photography" or "Photography by Tamra"? Or something like "A TLC Capture"?... my initials-TLC. I purchased a laptop for the business already. I need it to be able to process all the photos.

Madison sure is getting big and learning so much. We had her 18 month appointment last week and she's 25 lbs 33 in. The doctor was very surprised on how much she already knows. She was showing him how she can turn on Mommy's iPhone. It was pretty amazing. She's talking a lot now--when she wants to. She loves airplanes and shoes!

First Blog

So here I am at work and finally decided to create a blog. I'm not exactly sure how often I'll use it, but might as well join the bandwagon and have my own blog.
